Children's Poetry Writing Competition
The Mama Brown & Co Children's Poetry Writing Competition is now accepting entries on the topics of LOCKDOWN or SPRING.
Entries
Entries must be original works, ideally no more than two verses in length and will be judged within two age categories:

Poetry on the topic of LOCKDOWN or SPRING from those aged 4-7 years

Poetry on the topic of LOCKDOWN or SPRING from those aged 8-11 years
Dates
The competition closes at 11pm British Summer Time on May 7, 2021. Winners will be announced through our website and by email no later than May 14, 2021.
Judging Panel
The competition will be judged by an expert panel including award-winning children's writer Suzanne Hemming - author of 'She's Not Good For A Girl, She's Just Good' and 'The Queen Engineer', Nettlefold founder Zoe Wheeler who has created a stationary brand inspired by the poetry of her late Grandfather, and Mama Brown & Co founder Kat Brown.
Prizes
Winners will have their poem made into a bespoke art print by our wonderful sellers Nettlefold and Rachel Gale which will be gifted to them to keep, aswell as receiving poetry book Poems Aloud by Joseph Coelho and a Carddies Colour & Play Set.
Every child who enters will receive a Certificate of Achievement following the competition close as a thank you for taking part.

How to Enter
All entries must be submitted by a Parent/Guardian. Parents/Guardians should complete the entry form below with their name and contact email together with their child's entry in the large box at the bottom entitled 'Message'.
